During the evenings of Tuesday November 15th and Wednesday November 16th The Bridge will be conducting its annual fundraising phonathon. This is an important part of our annual fundraising campaign, and all proceeds support services that help troubled kids and kids in trouble lead happier, more successful lives.
A group of high school students volunteers their time to call people who have made donations to The Bridge in the past. They are not be slick telemarketers, but their passion to help others is evident. We thank them for their help and enthusiasm. If you are called please encourage them, and say “yes” when they ask if you’ll make a donation to The Bridge.
The calls are made from Community Consolidated School District #15 offices. If you receive a call on November 15th or 16th, and your caller ID says “Com Cons 15,” or something similar, the call is from The Bridge and being made from District #15 headquarters! We thank Superintendent Scott Thompson and other staff at the administrative office for allowing us to use their phones.
Tre Amici Pizza is providing food for our callers. We thank them, too.
